Landscapes

I would have a very quiet photographic life away from the Street Photography if I constrained myself to shooting Where The Land Meets The Sea, given that I may only get away to the coast once a year. So, I feel there was an inevitability as I grew older that I would find myself embracing the local landscape again; I began to turn my lens on the trees within their open landscape much in the same way that I approached the big skies of the coast.

The series Aura again plays on the natural way light dances, leaks into the shadows, and predominantly shot around dawn and dusk.

The series Drift follows a similar felt-sense evolution to that inspired by Wavelengths. There is something undeniably compelling in capturing available light as it plays through a scene, especially when that light tumbles to gloom, which creates a whole new way of seeing.
