I would have a very quiet photographic life away from the Street Photography if I constrained myself to shooting Where The Land Meets The Sea, given that I might only get to the coast once a year. So, I feel there was an inevitability as I grew older that I would find myself embracing the landscape; I began to turn my lens on the trees and the open landscape much in the same way that I approached the big skies of the coast.
The series Aura again plays on the natural way light dances, leaks into the shadows, around dawn and dusk.
And the series Drift followed a similar felt-sense evolution to that inspired by Wavelengths. There is something undeniably compelling in capturing available light as it plays through a scene which creates a whole new way of seeing.
