The Anatomy Of A Stroke is an exceptionally personal documentary project following my own father’s battle with his ischaemic/infarct. When I received the call from the hospital to say he was in A&E I just happened to have my camera with me; little did I know what lay ahead for him; for any of us.
I was mostly active on Flickr at the time and began posting images/journal entries there, which, in part through that remarkably empathetic response, ultimately led to the work being given its own fully dedicated website here, where you’ll find the full unfolding story in images and text.
